One thing you could do is create your own language. Some people do and for lots of different reasons. LL Zamenhof created Esperanto to try to bring about world peace. It worked, but on a less-than-global scale.
Josh and Chuck dive into the fascinating world of Esperanto, the constructed language created in the 1880s by a Polish doctor who dreamed of world peace through universal communication. They explore how this "language of hope" emerged from the ethnic violence of 19th century Poland and became surprisingly popular, even attracting notable speakers like George Soros and Joseph Stalin. The hosts trace Esperanto's origins, its creator's touching backstory, and how this idealistic linguistic experiment aimed to break down barriers between different cultures and nations.
