In another chapter of our continuing mysteries of the sea theme, we deliver a truly baffling mystery involving a ship that was lost and found, which brought more questions than answers.
In this episode, Josh and Chuck dive into the bizarre maritime mystery of the Sarah Jo, a fishing boat that vanished without a trace off the coast of Hawaii in 1979 with five men aboard. A decade later, a marine biologist discovers the boat washed up on a remote atoll in the Marshall Islands, over 2,300 miles away, along with human remains and a makeshift grave marked with a driftwood cross. The guys explore the tangled questions surrounding how the boat drifted so far, how long it took to get there, and the intriguing theory that illegal Chinese fishermen may have discovered and respectfully buried one of the crew members.
